How to Connect Namecheap Domain to InfinityFree
Welcome to Ben’s Experience! In this tutorial, I will show you how to connect a Namecheap domain to InfinityFree. By following these steps, you can easily link your Namecheap domain with InfinityFree hosting and get your website up and running in no time.
Step 1: Log in to Your InfinityFree Account
First, go to the InfinityFree website and log in to your account using your email address and password. Once logged in, click on the web hosting you want to connect your Namecheap domain to.
Step 2: Add Your Namecheap Domain
Navigate to the domains section and click on ‘Add Domain.’ Select the ‘Custom Domain’ option and enter your Namecheap domain name, such as ‘yourdomain.com.’ You will then need to choose between creating a new directory in your web hosting or using an existing directory. For this tutorial, we’ll create a new directory.
Step 3: Verify Ownership of Your Namecheap Domain
To verify that you own the Namecheap domain, log in to your Namecheap account. Go to the domain list and click on the domain you want to connect. Next to the name servers, select ‘Custom DNS.’ Before continuing, I want to let you know about my free InfinityFree online course. Step 4: Update Name Servers
Go back to InfinityFree and copy the first name server. Replace the first name server in Namecheap with this copied name server. Repeat the process with the second name server. Click on the ‘Check’ button to save your changes.
Step 5: Add Domain and Wait for DNS Propagation
Return to InfinityFree and click on ‘Add Domain.’ Now, you need to wait for the DNS changes to take effect. This process usually takes between 24 to 72 hours. Be patient and keep refreshing your website until the Namecheap domain connects with InfinityFree.
