How to Buy Squarespace
Buying Squarespace is a straightforward process, and in this guide, I’ll walk you through each step to ensure you get started with your new website without any hassle.
1. Visit Squarespace

2. Get Started
Click on “Get Started” once you’re on the Squarespace site. You’ll be asked about your website’s topic. For example, if you’re setting up a site for a restaurant, select “Restaurant” and click “Next.”
3. Choose How to Build Your Site
You can either use Squarespace’s AI to build your site or choose to do it step-by-step. I opted for the AI method, which is ideal for those who want a faster setup.
4. Create Your Account
You can create your Squarespace account using Google, Apple, or a custom email. Enter your details, including first name, last name, and email, and continue.
5. Set Your Site Title and Brand Personality
Choose a site title and select a brand personality. For instance, if you’re creating a restaurant website, you might choose “Pine Restaurant” and select a professional tone.
6. Build Your Homepage
Start by building your homepage. You can add sections as needed, such as an intro section, services, or social media links. Customize each section to fit your needs.
7. Add Pages
Add necessary pages like About, Contact, Shop, or Appointments. You can always add or remove pages later.
8. Choose a Color Palette and Font
Select a color palette and font that reflect your brand. For a professional look, you might choose a gray palette and the Roboto font.
9. Finalize and Subscribe
After setting up your site, you’ll need to choose a plan. Squarespace offers various plans, with the Business plan being popular due to its added features like professional email and advanced e-commerce options. Pay annually or monthly, and confirm your selection.
10. Review and Confirm Payment
Fill in your billing information, review the total amount, and confirm payment. You can pay via PayPal or credit/debit card.
11. Start Using Squarespace
Once your purchase is complete, you can start customizing your site. You can publish your website and share it with the world!
