How to Add WordPress to InfinityFree

Welcome to Ben’s Experience! In this guide, I will show you how to add WordPress to InfinityFree. InfinityFree is a great free hosting platform that allows you to easily host your WordPress site. Follow these steps to get started.

Step 1: Log into Your InfinityFree Account

Head over to infinityfree.net and log in with your email address and password. Click “Sign In” to access your account.

Step 2: Select Your Hosting Account

Once logged in, click on the web hosting account where you want to add WordPress. This will take you to your hosting dashboard.

Step 3: Access the Softaculous Installer

In your hosting dashboard, look for the “Softaculous Installer” button. It’s a big button, usually easy to find. Click on it to open the installer.

Step 4: Install WordPress

Under the Softaculous installer, find WordPress and click on the “Install” button. Here are the steps you need to follow:

1. Choose the Protocol: Select between HTTP or HTTPS. I recommend using HTTPS for better security.
2. Select Your Domain: Choose your domain from the dropdown list.
3. Choose WordPress Version: Go with the latest version of WordPress for the best security features.
4. Site Settings: Enter your website name and a brief description.
5. Admin Account: Create your admin username (I chose “Ben”) and a strong password. Also, fill in your email address.
6. Select Language: Choose your site language. I selected English.
7. Advanced Options: You can rename your database here. Using your website’s name can make managing your database easier.

Step 5: Complete the Installation

Click the “Install” button and wait for the process to complete. It usually takes a few moments.

Step 6: Visit Your New WordPress Site

Once the installation is complete, visit your new WordPress site. If the admin link provided doesn’t work, simply add /wp-admin to your domain URL to access the WordPress admin area.
