How to Zoom In on a YouTube Video When Editing
Welcome to Ben’s Experience! In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to zoom in on a YouTube video when editing using Final Cut Pro.
To begin with, let’s talk about the tools you’ll need. For my YouTube video editing, I use Final Cut Pro. It’s a powerful software available on my computer, which offers a range of features for editing videos.
Steps to Zoom In on a YouTube Video:
- Select the Scissor Tool
Start by clicking “C” on your keyboard to select the scissor tool. This tool allows you to make cuts in your video. For instance, if you want to zoom in when discussing a specific page URL, make a cut before and after that segment. - Switch to the Selection Tool
After making your cuts, press “A” to switch from the cutting tool to the selection tool. Select the segment you wish to zoom in on. Ensure the timeline indicator is on this segment to preview it. - Zoom In Using Transform
Go to the transform option and grab the video from the corner to zoom in. Adjust the zoom level to your preference and preview the changes.
Preview and Adjust
Play the video to preview the zoom effect. If needed, adjust the zoom level until you’re satisfied with the result.
