Welcome to B’s Experience! In today’s tutorial, I’ll walk you through the process of uploading a backup file in Hostinger, step by step.

Step 1: Accessing Your Hostinger Account Log in to your Hostinger account and navigate to the ‘Websites’ section. Click on ‘Dashboard’ next to your website to proceed.

Step 2: Accessing File Manager From the left-side menu, select ‘Files’ and then ‘File Manager’. Make sure you’re within the public HTML folder of your website.

Step 3: Uploading Your Backup File Click on the upload icon and select the backup file from your computer. Double-click the file to initiate the upload. Monitor the progress until complete.

Step 4: Extracting the Uploaded File Once uploaded, right-click on the file and choose ‘Extract’. Provide a name for the new folder (e.g., ‘backup’) and click ‘Extract’ again.

Step 5: Moving Files to Public HTML Navigate to the newly extracted folder and locate your files. Double-click the first folder repeatedly until you’re inside the public HTML folder. Select ‘Move’ to transfer your backup files.

Step 6: Cleaning Up After moving your files, you can delete the backup folder and the compressed backup file to keep your hosting space tidy.
