Resetting Your WordPress Website via the WordPress Dashboard

If you have access to your WordPress dashboard, resetting your site is straightforward:

  1. Access the Dashboard:
    • Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
    • Navigate to Dashboard > Updates.
  2. Reinstall WordPress:
    • You’ll see an option to reinstall the current version of WordPress.
    • Click Reinstall Now.
    • WordPress will download and reinstall the latest version.
    Just like that, your WordPress site is reset to a fresh state!

Resetting Your WordPress Website via Hostinger

If you don’t have access to your WordPress dashboard, you can reset your site through your Hostinger account:

  1. Log in to Hostinger:
    • Go to your Hostinger account.
    • Click on Websites from the top menu.
    • Select the dashboard of the WordPress site you want to reset.
  2. Delete the Existing Installation:
    • From the left-hand menu, click on Install > Auto Installer.
    • Next to your website, click the three dots and select Delete.

  3. Reinstall WordPress:
    • Go back to Websites > Auto Installer.
    • Choose WordPress and click Select.
    • Fill in your new site details:
      • Site Title: (e.g., My Blog)
      • Email: Your email address
      • Username: New admin username
      • Password: New admin password
    • Choose the latest version of WordPress and select your preferred site language.
    • Click Install.
    Once the installation is complete, your WordPress site is fresh and ready for setup!
