How to Reset Squarespace Template
Hey everyone, welcome to Ben’s Experience! In this guide, I’ll show you the best way to reset your template in Squarespace. While Squarespace doesn’t offer a direct reset button for templates, you can still revert your design to its original state by following these steps.
Step 1: Log In to Your Squarespace Account
Begin by logging into your Squarespace account at squarespace.com. Navigate to your dashboard to access your site.
Step 2: Go to Site Styles Panel
Once you’re in your site dashboard, head over to the Site Styles panel. This is where you can manage the overall design of your site, including fonts, buttons, and other style elements.
Step 3: Reset Fonts
To reset your fonts, go to the fonts section within the Site Styles panel. You’ll see an option to reset the font settings. Confirm the reset to return your fonts to their default settings.
Step 4: Reset Buttons
Similarly, you can reset the styles of your buttons. Select the button type you want to reset and confirm the action. This will revert all styles for the selected button type to their default state. Remember to repeat this step for each type of button used on your site.
Step 5: Reset Content and Pages
Although there’s no reset button for the entire template, you can manually reset your content and pages. Exit the editing mode and go to the Pages section. To delete a page or a dropdown menu, select it and click on the trash bin icon. Confirm the deletion to remove the page.
Additional Tips
For lock screen styles, you can also reset them to default through the styles settings. This ensures that every aspect of your site design is consistent with the default template settings.
