How to Enable or Disable the www Prefix in Hostinger Website Builder

Welcome to Ben’s Experience! In this guide, I’ll show you how to enable or disable the www prefix in Hostinger Website Builder. This is a straightforward process that can be done in a few simple steps.

Steps to Enable or Disable the www Prefix:

  1. Access Your Hostinger Website Builder: Start by logging into your Hostinger account and navigating to your website builder dashboard.
  2. Go to Website Settings: Once you’re in the website builder, click on the ‘Website Settings’ option. This is where you can make various adjustments to your site’s configuration.
  3. Select General Settings: In the Website Settings menu, find and click on ‘General Settings.’ This section contains several important options for your site.
  4. Enable or Disable the www Prefix: Next to the option labeled ‘Use www prefix,’ you will see a toggle switch. You can enable it to add the www prefix to your domain or disable it to remove the prefix. For example, if the www prefix is currently disabled on your site, you can enable it to ensure your domain appears as www.yoursite.com.
  5. Update Your Website: After making your selection, don’t forget to save your changes and update your website. This will apply the new settings to your domain.

Viewing the Changes: Once you’ve updated your website, you can view your site to see the www prefix added or removed from your domain name.
