How to Edit Checkout Page in Squarespace

Step 1: Log In to Squarespace

Start by logging into your Squarespace account. Enter your email address and password, then click the login button. Once you’re in, navigate to the website you want to edit by clicking the website button below the desired site.

Step 2: Access Checkout Settings

To modify your checkout page, click on the settings icon. A new window will pop up. Select “Selling” and scroll down to the “Checkout” section. Here, you’ll find several settings you can customize:

  • Quantity Fields: Allow customers to select multiple products by showing quantity fields during the purchase flow.
  • Order Number: Edit the next order number to keep track of transactions.
  • Marketing Emails: Choose whether to enable or disable the option for customers to sign up for marketing emails during checkout.
  • Billing and Shipping Addresses: By default, Squarespace checks the billing address as the shipping address. You can adjust this as needed.
  • Default Country: Select a default country for the address field from the provided list.
  • Additional Information: Collect extra information, such as the customer’s phone number, by enabling relevant fields.

Step 3: Customize Your Checkout Page

To further refine your checkout page, click on “Customize Checkout Page” at the bottom of the settings page. A new window will open where you can edit various elements:

  • Logo Display: Choose whether to show your logo, adjust the logo text color, and set up header color and border.
  • Header and Button Colors: Customize the header and button colors to match your branding.
  • Show All Settings: Click “Show All” to access all available customization options.

Step 4: Save Your Changes

Once you’ve made the necessary adjustments, click the “Save” button to apply your changes. If you’re not ready to save, you can exit without saving your modifications.
