How to Duplicate a Website in Squarespace
Duplicating a website in Squarespace is a useful feature that allows you to create a copy of your site quickly and easily. Whether you want to experiment with new designs or create a similar website for a different purpose, this guide will walk you through the process.
Step 1: Log into Your Squarespace Account
First, navigate to Squarespace.com and log into your account. Once you’re logged in, locate the website you want to duplicate.
Step 2: Select Duplicate Website
Next to the website you want to duplicate, click on the three dots to open the options menu. From the dropdown menu, select “Duplicate Website.” Confirm your selection, and the duplication process will begin. This can take a few minutes, so you can leave the page during this time.
Step 3: Refresh and Access Your Duplicated Website
Once the duplication process is complete, you might need to refresh the page to see your copied website. Your duplicated site will appear next to the original one. To start editing your duplicated website, simply click on it.

To edit your new site, click on the website in the Squarespace dashboard. You can then make any changes or customizations as needed. To preview your duplicated website, click on the exit button to switch to the preview mode.
