How to Download a Mailchimp Email as PDF

Welcome to Ben’s Experience! In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to download a Mailchimp email as a PDF. Whether you need a record of your email campaigns or want to share the email content in a static format, this process is straightforward and effective.

1. Log In to Your Mailchimp AccountStart by logging into your Mailchimp account at mailchimp.com. Enter your username and password, then click on the “Log In” button.
2. Create or Select an EmailIf you don’t have an email ready, you can design one from scratch. Navigate to the “Design Email” section and choose a template to start building your email. For this tutorial, we’ll use a regular email template.
3. Save Your Email Design as a TemplateOnce you have your email designed, click on “Save this design as a template” from the top menu. Give your template a name, such as “Email to PDF,” and hit the “Save” button. This will ensure your email design is saved for future use.
4. Export the Email as HTMLAfter saving the template, return to the campaign by clicking the Mailchimp logo at the top corner. From the left side menu, scroll down to “Content” and select “Email Templates.” Find your saved template and click on the little arrow next to it. Choose “Export as HTML” and click the “Export Template” button.
5. Save the Email as a PDFOnce you have downloaded the HTML file, open it in your browser. To convert this to a PDF, right-click in your browser and select “Print” or use the shortcut Command + P on a Mac or Control + P on a PC. In the print dialog, change the destination to “Save as PDF” and click “Save.” Choose the location on your computer where you want to save the PDF file.
6. Check Your PDFNavigate to your computer’s download destination to find your Mailchimp email now saved as a PDF.
