Step-by-Step Guide to Changing Your Domain Name
- Log in to Your Hostinger Account
- First, log in to your Hostinger account to access your dashboard.
- Navigate to Websites
- Once you’re inside your Hostinger account, click on “Websites” from the top menu.
- Select the Website
- Next to your Hostinger Website Builder website, click on the three little dots (more options icon).
- Click on Change Domain
- From the dropdown menu, select “Change Domain.”
- Acknowledge the Warning
- You need to be aware that changing your website’s domain will result in the loss of all emails and data related to the current domain name. Make sure to check the box acknowledging that you understand this before proceeding.
- Enter the New Domain Name
- Fill in your new domain name in the provided field. For example, “BTestingHosting.com.”
- Confirm Ownership
- After entering the new domain name, you’ll need to confirm ownership. Follow the instructions provided to verify that you own the new domain.
- Complete the Change
- Click on “Next” and then hit “Confirm.” Your domain name is now successfully changed.
