Welcome to Ben’s Experience! In today’s tutorial, we’re going to walk through the process of adding a DNS record in Bluehost. If you’re looking to manage your domain settings and need to add a DNS record, you’ve come to the right place.

Steps to Add a DNS Record in Bluehost:

  1. Log in to Your Bluehost Account: Start by logging into your Bluehost account. This will bring you to your Bluehost dashboard.
  2. Access Domain Settings: Once you’re in, click on the “Website” section and locate the settings button next to your desired domain name. Click on it, then navigate to “Domains.”
  3. Open Advanced DNS Editor: Next to your domain name, click on the three-dot menu and select “Advanced DNS Editor.” This will redirect you to the CPanel interface.
  4. Add a DNS Record: In the DNS Zone Editor, click on the arrow next to “Add Record.” Choose the type of record you wish to add, such as an A record, and enter the required DNS details. Once you’ve filled in the information, hit “Save.”
  5. Wait for DNS Changes to Take Effect: Keep in mind that DNS changes might take a few hours to fully propagate. Be patient as the updates take effect.
