How to Add a PDF Document in Hostinger Website Builder
Adding a PDF document to your Hostinger website can enhance the interactivity and professionalism of your site. Whether you need to share a brochure, a detailed report, or an e-book, integrating a PDF can make your content more accessible to your audience. In this guide, I’ll show you how to seamlessly add a PDF document in Hostinger Website Builder.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Upload Your PDF to Google Drive
- Open Google Drive and click on “New” to upload your PDF file.
- Select “File upload” and choose your PDF document from your computer.
- Wait for the upload to complete, then double-click on your PDF file to open it.
Step 2: Get the Embed Code
- With the PDF open in Google Drive, click on the three vertical dots (More actions) in the top-right corner.
- Select “Open in new window” from the dropdown menu.
- In the new window, click on the three vertical dots again and choose “Embed item.”
- Copy the embed code that appears.
Step 3: Add the PDF to Your Hostinger Website
- Go to your Hostinger website and open the Website Builder.
- Add a blank section to your page where you want to display the PDF.
- Click on “Add element” and drag the “Embed code” element to the blank section.
- Double-click on the embed code element, delete any existing code, and paste your Google Drive embed code.
- Click “Save” to apply the changes.
Step 4: Resize and Update
- Adjust the size of the PDF document by resizing the section.
- Make sure the PDF fits well within your webpage layout.
- Don’t forget to update your website to save all changes.
Final Steps
After embedding the PDF, preview your website to ensure the document displays correctly. This simple process can make a big difference in how you present information to your audience.
