How to Add a Gallery Block in Squarespace

Adding a gallery block to your Squarespace website is a simple way to enhance your page’s visual appeal and showcase your images effectively. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of adding and customizing a gallery block in Squarespace.

Step 1: Log In to Your Squarespace Account

Begin by logging into your Squarespace account. Navigate to Squarespace.com and enter your email address and password to access your dashboard.

Step 2: Choose the Website and Page

Once logged in, locate and select the website where you want to add the gallery block. Click on the website button below the site you wish to modify. Then, go to the “Pages” section and select the page you want to work on. For this example, we’ll use the “Contact” page.

Step 3: Enter Editing Mode

Click on the “Edit” button at the top of the page to enter editing mode. This will allow you to make changes to your page layout and content.

Step 4: Add the Gallery Block

To add a gallery block, click on “Add a Section” and choose “Images” from the left-side menu. You’ll see various templates for gallery blocks. Select the template that best fits your needs.

Step 5: Customize Your Gallery

To edit the default images in the gallery block, click on “Edit Gallery.” You can delete the existing photos and upload new images by clicking on the “+” icon and selecting “Upload Images.” Choose the images from your computer that you wish to display in the gallery.

Step 6: Save and Preview

Once your images are uploaded, close the window and click on “Save” in the corner. Exit the editing mode and click on the preview arrow to see how your gallery looks live.

Step 7: Final Touches

Review your gallery block to ensure it looks as you want it. Make any necessary adjustments and ensure the images are properly displayed.
