How to Add a Button in Mailchimp
Welcome to Ben’s Experience! In this guide, I’ll walk you through the steps on how to add a button in Mailchimp. This essential skill will help you create engaging and interactive emails for your audience.
Step 1: Log In to Mailchimp
First, go to the Mailchimp website and log in to your account.
Step 2: Create a Regular Email
To demonstrate, we’ll create a regular email. Go directly to the “Design Email” step, select a free email template, and click “Apply.”
Step 3: Add a Button
From the email builder, select “Add” from the left side menu. Choose the “Add Block” option and drag it to the desired location in your email.
Step 4: Customize Your Button
Once you’ve added the button, you can customize it:
- Edit Text: Double-click on the button text to edit it as needed.
- Add a Link: Select the button block and choose from options like a web address, email, phone number, file, landing page, or anchor.
- Adjust Appearance: You can adjust the alignment, shape, size, and border of the button. For instance, you might link to a web address like google.com and decide whether to open the link in a new tab.
- Color and Design: Modify the button’s color, text color, background color, and block background. You can also adjust the border style to dotted, solid, etc.
