Step 4: Understand Promotion Placement

Your promoted video will appear in various locations, including the YouTube Home feed and search results. Make sure to preview how it will look to viewers.

Step 5: Target Your Audience

Next, you’ll decide who will see your promotion. Your video will be shown to viewers who are more likely to engage with your content based on existing subscribers. This is crucial for maximizing the effectiveness of your promotion.

Step 6: Budget and Schedule Your Promotion

You can set a budget for your promotion. For instance, if you have a budget of $30, you can spread this over several days. YouTube provides estimates on how many views you can expect based on your budget, helping you make informed decisions.

Step 7: Share Your Experience

From my experience, boosting a video can yield impressive results. For instance, when I boosted a video targeting audience growth, I received over 300,000 impressions and gained 718 subscribers within two days. Another video focused on gaining views received significant engagement in its first 24 hours.
