How to Add a Page on Your Squarespace Website

Adding a new page to your Squarespace website is a straightforward process that can significantly enhance your site’s functionality. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through it:

  1. Log In to Your Account Begin by logging into your Squarespace account. Visit Squarespace.com and enter your email address and password to access your website dashboard.
  2. Access Your Website Once logged in, find the website you want to work on from your dashboard. Click on the website button to proceed.
  3. Navigate to Pages In the left-hand menu, click on “Pages.” This will bring you to the section where you can manage and add new pages to your site.
  4. Add a New Page Click on the plus icon (+) to add a new page. You’ll be prompted to choose the type of page you want to create:
    • Blank Page: Start from scratch with a blank canvas.
    • Designer Layout: Utilize a pre-designed template.
    • Booking/Appointment Page: Set up a scheduling page.
    • Blog Page: Create a space for blog posts.
    • Store: Set up an online store.
    • Portfolio: Showcase your work.
    • Events: List upcoming events.
    • Videos: Add a page for video content.
    • Course Page: Ideal for educational content.
    For this guide, let’s choose a “Blank Page” to start fresh.
  5. Name Your Page After selecting the page type, give your new page a name. Enter the desired name in the provided field and press enter.
  6. Edit Your Page To begin editing, select your new page from the list and click on the “Edit” button at the top. This will open the page editor, where you can add sections and blocks to your page. For example, you can add a photo block to include images.
  7. Save Your Changes Don’t forget to click on “Save” in the corner to ensure your changes are not lost.
  8. Preview Your Page To see how your new page looks, click on “Exit” and enter preview mode. This allows you to review the page as it will appear to visitors.
