How to Install Multiple WordPress Websites in Hostinger
Hey everyone, welcome to Ben Experience! In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through the process of installing multiple WordPress websites in Hostinger. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to expand your WordPress site collection, this guide will help you manage multiple sites efficiently.
Step-by-Step Guide to Installing Multiple WordPress Websites in Hostinger
Step 1: Log in to Your Hostinger Account
First, log in to your Hostinger account. Once you’re in, navigate to the “Websites” section from the top menu.
Step 2: Add a New Website
You’ll see a list of your existing websites. Since I’ve already installed my first WordPress website, I’ll now show you how to add a second one. Click on the “Add Website” button.
Step 3: Select WordPress
Choose WordPress from the options provided. If you’re setting this up for your own use, select “Myself” and click “Next”.
Step 4: Create Your WordPress Login Details
You will need to create login details for your new WordPress site. Make sure to select a secure password and choose your preferred admin language from the dropdown list. Enter your email address and click “Next”.
Step 5: Define Your Website Type
When asked about the type of website you want to build, select “Blog” or any other type that fits your needs. Click “Next”.
Step 6: Template and Plugin Selection
Hostinger gives you the option to choose a pre-built template and plugins. For this tutorial, I chose to skip these steps, but you can select any that suit your needs.
Step 7: Domain Name Setup
Enter the domain name you want to use. If you already have a domain registered with another company like GoDaddy, type it in and update the name servers to point to Hostinger. Alternatively, you can use a temporary domain provided by Hostinger.
Step 8: Install WordPress
Hostinger will now install your second WordPress website. Once the installation is complete, you can access your new site by clicking on the provided link.
Managing Multiple WordPress Websites
Switching between your WordPress websites is simple. Use the dropdown list in your Hostinger account to switch between your multiple sites seamlessly.
